“the manager”
client: personal project
description: a personal project based off of a photo of a very dapper cat who works at a liquor store in san francisco. the goal of this piece was to integrate handwritten typographical elements into my work (and also to draw a very handsome cat).

“the nest”
client: personal project
description: a personal project inspired by illustrators for hire’s art challenge “the great outdoors.” this piece draws inspiration from one of the most magical places i've ever been to: a treehouse village in ohio. there are several treehouses you can stay at all based on a different theme. my partner andy and I always choose the nest! it's a bird-themed treehouse that also has its very own slide out front, and a bed that is shaped like a bird's nest inside.
being in the nest immediately fills you with childlike wonder and joy. there is nothing more magical and special than being in nature high above the ground, and you certainly can't beat the view at night time.
